This photos were taken years back but wasn't able to post it. Since its summer already here in the Philippines I would like to share to you guys one of the amazing trip and probably one of the fist out of town trip far away with my friends. We planned this over and over and finally it push through. Too bad we're only four but that doesn't mean we make the most of it. Its an overnight stay only but its a full of experience. Let me first start with our travel to arrival up to the things we did and will be doing a separate post on how budget friendly going to Zambales is.

You most likely not to be seeing me wearing pants or jeans or the like. I don't like wearing pants that is too loose for me. Just like that. I always have a hard time looking for best fit of jeans but came to none. I gave up and ditch all my jeans. Thank goodness for jeggings, I finally have something to wear for pants.

If you enjoyed my previous post about Colored Wedding Dresses from DressV you will surely enjoy and be in love with their cocktail dresses too: http://www.dressv.com/cocktail-dresses-2014-c103450/ Cocktail dresses can be use in most occasions. It's one of the dresses you can never go wrong and look stylish and fabulous, be it if you're attending a simple party, prom, awarding ceremony, birthday party, a date or even graduation or grad ball and so many other events. So random, right? Yes. Because that's how flexible cocktail dresses is. It can fit to any occasion.

Looking for a perfect cocktail dress is tough. Especially if you don't know what exactly you want, what designs, colors, or trend. Like for me, my graduation is is coming up and wearing cocktail dresses is an option for me. I can just wear any dresses out there but its a special day and I want it to be perfect and the best way to have it perfect is to wear that perfect dress. Isn't something like a reward for finishing college? Honestly, before, I already pictured myself wearing this specific dress but people grow up and change their likes and all, maybe because of new trend and designs that boom these past years. So I'm back to zero.

Yes, I haven't found that perfect dress for my final day. Good thing dressv http://www.dressv.com/ has a wide range of cocktail dresses to choose from. This first photo is on top of my list. I never seen one like this and I fell so in love instantly!

Isn't it the most gorgeous thing ever?

There are some who haven't found their perfect shopping site. I believe I found mine. I was so happy when Rosewholesale.com contacted me and asked me if I want to host a giveaway for them. Why not? They have a wide range of fashionable yet affordable items. You can spend only $10-$15 and be fashionable. Don't believe me? Here are some of the items ranges to that price. These are my personal choices:

I've been following a lot of blogs, more than 300+ blogs. And last week, as I was following new blogs I am having a hard time.

I kept on receiving this message when I try to follow one.

I tried adding it through my blogger home but after this "message" saving.. I get a message "You are already following the maximum number of blogs (300). Unfollow some other blogs first." Of course I don't want to unfollow you guys.

Now I try this one, I was able to follow only two. Help!

Is it just me or does anybody share same sentiments? Or you know how to resolve this? let me know please. I do have a lot of new blogs that I want to follow but can't. I have already this pile of list of those blogs saved on my notepad. Please please do help if you know.

I didn't realized there is a limit either or what?

loves,

Short Prom Dresses
Preparing for a wedding is tough. I know. Not because I'm already been there but because I have a friend who's a wedding planner that we help him one time on one event. But before the big event, I know one of the struggle of every woman is coming up with a fabulous and very awesome wedding gown http://www.dressv.com/  I know that for sure because even as of before I already picturing what I should wear on my big day! (We'll see if that will happen :p)

But if you're adventurous enough and don't want to be on the usual wedding gowns trend, you can always go for color wedding dresses http://www.dressv.com/color-wedding-dresses-c103389
Take this one for example, if you're like me, a color red lover

I've been eyeing Warby Parker's sunglasses and eyeglasses since I saw their site. It's where I found glasses hardly found on mall. They have this unique style that can fit your lifestyle. Moreover, it can fit wherever you will go.

What more amazing about this line of glasses is that you get to try it yourself virtually. I know buying of eyeglasses/sunglasses is hard online. Very. Especially like me who is very meticulous and doesn't own a 20:20 vision. It's a must to try it on first and feel it. But thankfully, Warby Parker has this Virtual Try-On. You get to try all of its designs and see for yourself if it suits you or not.

I find it hard at first to try it. I'm landing on this page http://www.warbyparker.com/virtual-tryon and don't know what to do after that. I explore their site and choose first my desired glasses.

Here's the procedure for a smooth-free virtual try on:

1. Go to Warby Parker site
2. Browse your desired glasses
(for optical --> http://www.warbyparker.com/eyeglasses/women
for sunwear --> http://www.warbyparker.com/sunglasses/women)
3. Once you have chosen a specific glasses, on the right panel of the page you will see an option Virtual Try On, and then click it.
4. A box will appear and click on the image to upload your photo. It will ask you whether you want to upload via webcam, your computer, or import from facebook. (I chose upload from computer so I get to try 3 different pose and 3 different looks.)
5. Once done, you can adjust the frame to fit your face.
6. There are also choices on the left you can try like different colors.
7. If you're happy with it you can save the image and viola that's it!

Here are the 3 different frames I've tried.

The Burke in Sugar Maple
I love this design and this photo is from me at school. So I guess its pretty much perfect for everyday at school. What do you think?

The Quimby in Aurora
This cute Aurora sunwear is just perfect for this summer. Yes, summer is just around the corner here in the Philippines. As my picture, it was when we go out in the sun. Perfect right? :)

The Ripley in Whiskey Tortoise
You probably notice I have a big heart with big glasses. I don't know. I feel vintage-y and awesome wearing one. The bigger and stylish the better! This optical wear is perfect for my office days. :)

So, which one suits me best? Perhaps, all? I'm actually loving it all! Wanna try one? Just don't forget to follow the procedure for a smooth-free virtual try-on!

Wanna know your insights about it. Feel free to leave a comment.

loves,

This is probably one of the event/activity that me and my siblings attend to. Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2014 take place for the first time in Manila, Philippines.  "Shell Eco-marathon challenges student teams from around the world to design, build and test ultra energy-efficient vehicles. With annual events first in the Americas, then Europe and Asia, the winners are the teams that go the furthest using the least amount of energy. The events spark debate about the future of mobility and inspire young engineers to push the boundaries of fuel efficiency." (shell.com)

It was an awesome experience. I am really not into cars. I don't know anything about the engine. If the looks look good then its good for me. Nothing more, nothing less. I do enjoy watching Fast and Furious and playing racing but that's it. This shell eco-marathon evolves my liking to cars, though.

My brother is the main reason why we go here. Honestly, me and sister(who happens to be working at shell as finance analyst) planned already to be going here since last January. But we feel lazy to still go til my younger brother told us that he wanted to join us and by that making it possible for us to agree. Minsan lang sumama ang mga kapatid kong lalaki sa mga gantong lakad. My younger brother's first love is engine, or at least anything in relation with mechanics. When we were still young, grade school to narrow it down, he really wanted to be one, a mechanic. He will build his own small cars or even make a fan out of pieces of junks on my dad's toolbox. As he enter college, he's decided what to take up, Mechanical Engineering on this institute. But he decided to enroll on another school, in my school, but sadly, there's no ME in our school which frustrates him the most. Anyway, he's already graduate from he's degree BS ECE. But he's liking to mechanics never fades off.

We all witnessed Zac Efron's style evolution from High-School Musical baggy days to portraying a more mature role on "The Lucky One" movie. Goodbye baggy days and hello sharp-suited look. But we can see more of his style behind camera, with people following him almost everywhere we get to glimpse how his style is.

If the girls have this rule "Every girl should have a black dress in their closet" Zac Efron has his own version of it. Let me present to you Zac Efron and his khaki pants.

"Every man should have a khaki pants in their closet"

In here we can see how versatile khaki pants is. I know most will say black is! But aren't we all tired of sticking to norms? Black is black already, they've proven their versatility, no argument needed, but if you're looking for some adventure and fresh look, try stealing Zac Efron's style by wearing khaki pants.

But of course, Zac Efron, doesn't limit himself to khaki pants. It's not the only clothes in his closet, I believe. He can also pull-off some sharp-suited look and be absolutely sharp especially when he attended the Cannes.

He surely have evolved his style. Stealing a celebrity's style is quite easy actually, as for my belief. It's not always buying exactly the same as what they wear. It's about buying similarly looking clothes and adding your touch on it. And my forever tip? The lesser the cost the better. Always remember, you don't have to spend a lot to steal a celebrity's style, it's just a matter of incorporating your style and his style. Put it together and I'm sure you'll be looking absolutely great just the way you want it.

If you want to learn more about stealing a celebrity's style, you can always refer to Paul Fredrick's site. There they talk about the dashing Leonardo Dicarpio.

You? Whose celebrity you would love to steal their style? Let me know your choices!

Loves,
Ellie
