17 hours of travel just to see this beauty. Yep, all worth it!
I've been dying to go to the beach and honestly I never had a beach outing since February of this year(2016) so imagine my thrill going on one.
Caramoan is one of the municipality of Camarines Sur. The island gained popularity because the American competitive reality television series "Survivor" was filmed here and until now Survivor used this island to film their reality tv series.
Caramoan is located at the tip of Caramoan Peninsula and off the coast of the peninsula are numerous islets. The 10 principal islands of the group are Bag-ing, Cagbanilad, Catanhawan, Cotivas, Lahus, Lahuy, Matukad, Minalahos, Pitogo, and Sabitang-Laya. On our trip we were able to visit 4 island: Cagbanilad, Catanhawan, Lahus, and Matukad. Matukad island is where the survivor held their home.
The photo above is the Lahus Island, the second island on our island hopping. Its one of the nearest island from the jump point. It has a fine white sand between two rock formation as seen above. We stayed here for at least an hour and just take pictures. I can say that it is one of those island where you can photo op like pre-nup. It has a perfect views and the island is magnificent more in person than that of the photo I took.
Too bad we were only get to visit 4 island, just all the nearest one. I am planning to visit all especially the sandbar islands that is located farthest.
