St. Joseph The Worker Cathedral or most commonly known as Tagbilaran Cathedral. It was being restored during my visit here last 2016 after the tragic earthquake that hit Visayas.

If you are like me whose bucket lists includes visiting Churches in the Philippines then don't missed out this cathedral in Bohol. Its easy to get here because its just near the airport and its just in town.

From Tagbilaran airport, you may catch a taxi directly to Alona beach around 500 php one way. Located exactly at the beachfront you can catch sunset here while sipping some beer or eating snacks or just chilling.

During my stay, they charge me for only 1500 php a night complete with airconditoned room, private toilet, linens, towels, flatscreen tv, a really large double bed and you can dip into their pool anytime you like! I did not booked ahead of time and good thing they have available room. Talking about luck here.

They also have their own restaurants and bar that serves beer at night and some acoustic bands that can serenade you while meeting some new friends.

For future bookings you can always reach them on their website http://www.panglaobirdwatchers.com/contact-and-bookings.html

Every 28th of August, people of Panglao celebrates the fiesta of their patron saint, St. Augustine. The church stands on the sothwestern side of Panglao and about 18 kilometers from Tagbilaran City.

It nestles close to the seashore of the famous Panglao beach. Tourist pays visit, especially those who wants to explore the island and learn more about the history and culture of the province of Bohol.

The facade of the church has the typical portico with fancy Corinthian capitals. St. Augustine church is famed for its ceiling murals; the paintings depicting the seven sacraments.

If you want to visit the church, you may reach it from Tagbilaran City by vans, jeepneys, and mini-buses that ply the Tagbilaran - Panglao routes. All routes from the capital converge in the area where St. Augustine Church is located.

My first ever solo trip to Bohol is full of excitement. One of those is arranging and booking hotels for myself. That's where I learned about booking.com, it is my trusted site where I book most of my trips for over three years now.

Since I am just alone on this trip, my budget will be alloted more on hotel bookings. So I make sure to look for the cheapest I can get. Stefanie Grace Paradise Inn is one of the cheapest I can find in Loboc, Bohol. The location of the place is accessible to all the spots I will visit at that part of Bohol plus I'll be staying for a night only. That time spending 500 per night is really a plus for me and it is really cheap already.

One thing I love about this Inn is that they have their own pool. There's something about an accommodation with own pool, well, this is just for me. Aside from that, the place looks like a home transform into inn to accept people who are looking for nice and comfy place to stay in Loboc.

Books are available per room :)

One thing I love about this inn is that though they are strict with check-out you may leave your things at the reception and continue roaming around Loboc but if there's no confirmed reservation next to you, you may extend time.

Probably one of the provinces that I visit many destination is Bohol. Not to mention my first ever solo travel is this beautiful province. Whenever I visit a province I always make it sure to at least visit a Church, a Museum, a historic spots, a nature spots, and a beach and gladly on my Bohol trip all these list were ticked off!

Getting around Bohol is relatively easy that is of course you just need the power of confidence and trust to yourself. You will not go further if you will keep everything to yourself and do it plainly just yourself, diy-ers seek information from others specially locals. Just ask! But make sure to ask people who will most likely can answer your queries, still no idea? You may want to ask local drivers, police station and of course tourism offices to help you with your travels, that way, you may discover different places not listed on the research you've made over the internet.

This post will likely be take you to what will you see on Bohol branch's National Museum. It's always nice to list Museums on your destination wherever you will go because it will give you more ideas and information and backgrounds about the place you are visiting. It's like visiting all the different spots in that specific place in one room that will take you from the past up to the present.

So yes, I am suggesting and highly recommending to add this National Museum in Bohol and not just here but also other museums you will bump into your travels.
