The deepest lake in the country and also the 4th largest lake in the Philippines. Almost equally distributed between the province of Surigao Del Norte and Agusan Del Norte; surrounded by the towns of Mainit and Alegria, and Kicharao and Jabonga respectively.

If you want to take a best photo of the lake I suggest getting off at Brgy. San Roque in Kicharao, Agusan Del Norte. Alight before Kicharao terminal or else you'll be riding another motorola to go back. This is if you are coming from Butuan. But if you are coming from Surigao, Brgy. San Roque is located after the terminal. Just inform the kundoktor.

Sometime in the past years there is this resort called Almont Lake Resort that used to accommodate guests who wants to admire this enchanting lake but sad to say and I just found out earlier that they already stop operation of the place. Regardless, it is a public place and you can just go in there and take photos.

My trip to the country's 4th largest lake in Agusan Del Norte dated last September 2, 2017 is an official entry to my 81 Before 30 Challenge.

I really wanted to take a long swim but we need to head to our last destination and it was getting late already. They told me that out of three island the best island to swim is in Guyam Island. So my expectation is high since I really fell in love with Daku Island.

I set my expectations high because Guyam is my 3rd place out of the three island we visited. The island has so many rocks that will slightly hinder your swimming and there are so many weeds on the shore, though the sand is white and clean and all there are poops floating in the water. We believe it was caused by the small kids who goes there. Too bad their parents didn't take care much of their kinds especially this kind of situation it really ruins the water and our friends under it.

We head to the other side of the island where you can do so much photo ops with the rocky part of the island. Just be careful because the rocks are pointy and the waves will really hit you hard back to the rocks that may cause wound the same thing happen to my friend.

You may still enjoy Guyam, the poops is just my own experience and it may vary everyday.

Our second stop on our island hopping in Siargao si Daku Island. Daku Island is the place where you would take your lunch time since its the only island on the tres islas who offers paluto. You may also bring your own food and rent a nipa hut for your group.

After Naked Island we are so hungry that we decided to leave the bare island and head to Daku. Arriving at the island makes me feel so thrilled. I instantly fell in love with the island. Its a combination of Boracay and Jomalig Island. It was so pure, so white, so fine, and so quiet. Those non-surfers will definitely enjoy this destination. The coconut trees standing so tall and abundant is perfect for your photo ops or like they said "instagrammable" HAHA!

You may also swim here. The fine sand and so clean water is really inviting. It's just that we start late that we need to leave this island soon to head to last island. But! I did not waste any time, though that day was hot, I run and take a dip and swim in the purest body water of Daku Island.

Family and friends will surely enjoy this wonderful island. During our first stay (yep, we go back the other day), there are some locals from main island that go here to relax and plays guitar and just sings. Imagine you are in an isolated and peaceful island with fresh air and guitar playing on the background? Just a fine and perfect afternoon for me. We head to them and acknowledge how good the singer is and take a photo with them.

If you are following my Siargao posts, you are aware that I stayed in Siargao more than a week. Given the time, and run out of spots to visit, and since I really fell in love with Daku I plan on going back here alone, I did invite some of the friends I met in the hostel and they all said yes! So after a few days we head back on my favorite island in Siargao.
