Can a man be so beautiful and hot in every angle he make? Damon is! Or Ian Somerhalder in reall life. I've been a fan of The Vampire Diaries for quite sometime and I can't wait for the season 4 to air, Elena a vampire? Yes she is now! But let's focus on Damon.

One of the leading local clothing line here in the Philippines, the PENSHOPPE goes really international, their "All Stars" campaign was recently joined by non other than the Gossip Girl star herself Leighton Meester. The "All Stars" campaign of Penshoppe are Ed Westwick, Mario Maurer, Zac Efron, Ian Somerhalder, and Leighton Messter.

Actually, I was quite glad they've got Zac Efron already but when they announce that Ian Somerhalder will be their new brand endorser I felt so overwhelm and excited and really goes gaga when they confirmed that they will be bringing the hottest vampire in the Philippines! I'm giggling, clapping, jumping, a fan girl to be exact! All eyes on my twitter account where I usually got news about his visit here but unfortunately the day he will be arriving is the day I'm going to an island with friends to enjoy summer with no cellphone coverage at all not even electricity. I feel sad because for the first time in my life I really wanna go at the airport and wait for him there! That's how my fan side for him is. When I came back, after a couple of days, Penshoppe announce on twitter that there will be a meet and greet at SM Mall of Asia on May 24, 2012. Since classes haven't started yet and I really wanna see him so I don't hesitate!

I never imagine I will see him in personal! It never really crosses my mind. But hey! Dreams do come true! My friend whom also loves Damon was still out of town, that leaves me alone going there. My mom wanted to go to but she has work so she can't.

I wake up early so I can be on the first row and be near him. But, I think I'm not the only one thinking of that so I'm not really surprise that when I got there, there are already a bunch of people waiting for him. i arrived at 11am and show will start at 3pm. We were all standing there til 3pm just to wait for him.

When he arrives everyone is screaming and taking their best picture of him. Syempre hindi papatalo ang lola mo, it was like a stampede! There were pushing! Thank God no one takes advantage f our things, well I don't know with the others but all my cameras are safe though with my wallet an cellphone.

Funny about this, everytime someone pops on the floor, people gone mad and shouting! Haha! Still smile when I remember that.

He feels really overwhelm about the warm welcome. :)

At first, they were sitting on the chair but then they change to the edge of the chair so we can see them.

His eyes is so mesmerizing! I don't need Damon's compulsion charm just to be enchanted by him! :D

Thank you for the big screen! really!
He look so cute here! He was asking us to stay calm and quite because all you can hear is shouting and screaming! And he was also asking us to stop pushing.

He's making every part of the crowd feels appreciated by him.

Even people on the 2nd floor. :)

And people on his back.

One of the cutest thing he did! He take a picture of us using his phone!

Sorry for the blurry shot. I'm using my digicam in a full zoom, I can't use my dslr because I'm so small and can't get a good shot so instead I use the digicam.

As far as I remember I think he's saying here is he's going back in the Philippines. :)

He's thanking all of us for the warm welcome.

DISCLAIMER: I don't own this photo. When I got home I browse the internet and found this. There's really a crowd!

My favorite! Before he left, he was asked to take a picture with all of us! Everyone is ecstatic!

It's a funny experience though. This actually my first time to do it. I don't know what gotten into me, maybe his vampire charm? I'm really looking forward to seeing him again and I will wake-up real real early!

One of the lines I always remember from the tv series is "It's always been Stefan" where Elena always tells to Damon, but hey for me It's always been Damon!

Support his foundation called ISFOUNDATION. It's for a good cause.

Okay. For the record, this will be my first ever book review in my blog. Honestly, you can categorize me as a bookworm as I am clearly is one. I read from variety of book. From classic to fantasy, fiction or non-fiction anything, be it a kid books, teen books or adult books. I read from novel to book of names and their history. See? It's so random. I don't know if I hate this fact, that this will be the very first book review that I'll be doing when in fact Harry Potter and some other books I've read in the past really first fascinates me before this book: Fifty Shades of Grey.

My cousin's cousin tweet about her reading this book. I was kind of curious about it but don't have a chance on buying the book that time. And, she's the only one I knew reading it. I read reviews about it, some really comment aweful but more of them enjoyed it, reading those reviews grows more my curiosity. When finally I got my new ipod touch I downloaded it online at epubbud.com where you can download books for free and read through this app ibooks. I started reading it last June 21 and just finish it later this afternoon. One of the reason also why this book really caught my eye is that it's very different from the one's I have been reading since I started reading books: Harry Potter Series, Mitch Albom's Novels, Paulo Coelho's, Bob Ong's, The Hunger Games trilogy, and yeah, for heaven's sake the Twilight series which I hold no much interest on the movie than book(sorry, I really need to point that out)

Moving on, I thought this book is a complete love story, oh my, yeah really! I was quite overwhelm when I started reading it, especially the chapter one, where all the stories begun, it was quite thrilling and very provocative to read given I was only at first chapter. I wanted to know more, to acquire more. Why? Simply because of the characters. There's something with this Christian Grey, yeah he's the fifty shades of grey, that you wanted to know more like what this girl Ana wants to know more. And the story revolves on them and goes with the people around them.

Christian Grey is a very mysterious guy. A young wealthy not to mention billionaire and a successful guy with a lot of issues on his self. You can think of him as the living Adonis well in fact he's the epitome of alpha males! He's so complicated and so mercurial, he's fifty shades are really as my friend says, shady. His character is so well-constructed. He has ups and downs. He has bad side and good side. He could be a knight shining armor or could be a dark knight. His character is so full and I quite say can't help to contain it, its just so much grasp. But I think that's the catch, how his world is very different from so many and how you would accept and dive in to his.

Anastasia "Ana" Steel on the other hand is very surreal. I sometimes hate her reaction on some instances but that's the way her character is. A graduating literature major who's only in love with classic literary books. A girl never been touched, never been kissed, never had a boyfriend in her entire life who fell in love for the very first time with non other than Christian Grey himself. And the story goes on.

Of course, the story doesn't revolves only on the two. There's Ana's friends on the line, Katherine "Kate" Kavanagh who supposed to be doing the interview of Chrsitian Grey instead of Ana(well, that's where it started ;) ) Jose, a mexican-american guy who has this love-more-than-friend to Ana, the Clayton's family where Ana works, Ana's mother and her husband issues, Grey's family which includes Elliot, Christian's brother and Kate's lover, Mia younger daughter of a successful lawyer Mr. Carrick Grey and Dr. Grace Grey. And the mysterious Mrs. Robinson from Christian Grey's past.

I can't stop reading. I want to know what will be the end of this novel. It's not your typical kind of book. Yes, this is very sensual. Very mature and not for weak mind. Because one can be very judgy reading this. But it's a lot new to read and I recommend this book. I think its very high-fashioned for its a lot new to me.

If you happened to read the twilight saga which I happen to read all of it, you might quite see a resemblance of it except the fact that its not vampire kind of book. Resemblance in a way of the two main characters on their clinging to each other.

I could say I really enjoyed reading this book. I think you should read it 'til the end before judging Ana, well, honestly at first I did but in the end yeah that's the way should she do! I was and still beguiled by this book. I wonder what to expect on Fifty Shades Darker! I'm currently reading it already. :)

**after seeing the resemblance of this book from twilight saga I googled it and found an answer, I really don't want to dive-in too much on the issue, for me it's a whole lot new and good book to read
**this is clearly how I felt about reading the book, sorry if I'll be crossing someone's feeling but this is really subjective thoughts. ty!

Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1)Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finally! Enjoyed reading this book! I think you should read it 'til the end before judging Ana, well, honestly at first I did but in the end yeah that's the way should she do! Beguiled by this book I wonder what to expect on Fifty Shades Darker! I'm currently reading it already. :)

Continuing my haul posts are my cute finds and I mean literally "finds" from Baguio. If you already went to Baguio and knew how ukay-ukay are very extravagant there and how indulging it is to go hauling with price as low as 10 pesos there you probably knew what I mean.

When they told me about this ukay-ukay at Baguio, first thing in my mind is that I will not buy things that's not really of my type wholeheartedly. Yes. Almost everything caught my eyes, but I need to resist the temptation of buying all of them. Because of that, I'm the only left without hauls. Isn't it frustrating? To think I'm the only girl, me with Chard and Edzs, that both of them already bought a lot leaving me with nothing.

On our last day, finally! I've bought some cardigans on cheaper price!

First, I would like to inform you that I'll be changing my acquired things from "Fashion Bumps of The Week" to "Haul of the week". Why? I have two reasons. First, its not always fashion related things that I've been buying or will buy for the rest of my life that I would want to share with you. Second, please read the first one. This post, however, will not be the first out of the book fashion bumps. I will indicate if it's fashion related or books related or in short I'll put a label on it. I'll post my other hauls on my next blog posts.

Okay, let's start.

For starters, if you remember one of my first fashion bumps of the week where I showed you this cute tan oxford shoes that I bought from a friend on her online store, read here. And if you like to see where I paired those cute oxford shoes, see here.

Kawaii desu ne?

If you noticed on my look post, the tan oxford shoes is a bit large for me, yeah, because its size 8, but now I manage how it will look fit on me. Since I'm crazy over oxford shoes, I wanted to have more in darker shades, so when my friend posted this on her online store I fell in love with it instantly! But then, that time I'm so broke so I wasn't able to buy it.

After a couple of months, when me and my friends decided to invade the beauty of Baguio, I had a chance to buy it. (yeah, the friend I was talking about was my friend's aunt, that's why we became friends) well, I don't pay her right away, she says I can pay her when we came back to Bulacan. It's also a pre-loved shoes but still it looks just new. :)

So here it is my dark brown oxford shoes :)

I only wear it once, but I'm planning to wear it more often with pants, it looks more fab with pants e. :)

Mejo hindi ko na sya pinunasan, haha!

Anyway, here's my friend's online shop Glamfash Line :)

Watch out for more haul from my Baguio trip! Cardigans and Jackets for only 50 pesos?! :)

xoxo

I wore this for the last event of EL PASUBAT: RIGODON DE HONOR. My friend Jhec, who's working at the Municipal is required to attend the event so she hop me in. Those higher official and most influential people at Taal were present at the event. I don't really have actual pictures of them. We didn't finish the event too and go straight at Jhec's cousins birthday.

I'm planning to wear a flat shoes but it doesn't fit the color so I decided to wear my boots instead. This romper whom I'm very seldom to wear. I bought this last 2008 and wore it for only 2 times, second is this one. If you read my previous blog posts, I'm shy to wear sleeveless dresses or any sleeveless because of my armpits, its just later when sometimes I have the guts to wear those. I also love how this romper compliments  on my boots. :)

Now, let me bring to you my top most favorite ancestral house we invade.
 The Galleria Taal.

I made a special and separate blog post for it so I can show you clearly what's inside and where this Galleria Taal is located. For camera lovers, vintage lovers, I know you'll enjoy this one, because I did. :)

"Strategically located along Taal's main artery, Agoncillo St., Batangas, leading to the next town, Lemery, is the former ancestral home of Taal's Ylagan-Barion family, now resurrected and renamed GALLERIA TAAL."

"Galleria Taal is now, first and foremost, a vintage camera museum, showcasing Manny Barrion Inumerable's vast collection of rare cameras from the late 1800's-1900's. It is also a gallery of Philippine antiquarian photographs of the 1800's, American occupation, 2nd World War and the Liberian period."

The History of Galleria Taal
"Galleria Taal used to be the ancestral home of Domingo Ylagan and Maria Martinez-Ylagan in the 1800's. COmposed of two sections, the early house, located at the back portion has a distinctive tiled roof and was built in 1870. Approximately thirty years later, the facade fronting the main street was built, roofed this time with GI sheets"

"The once stately home fell in disrepair until 2004 when a grandchild, Emmanuel Inumerable (Manny) initiated its restoration together with the assistance of his brother, Robeto, a civil contractor. Both painstakingly reconstructed the house, preserving the antiquity of the stately ancestral home."

"In March 2010, Manny Inumerable opened Galleria Taal as an exhibition venue of antique cameras and antiquarian Philippine photographs."

"The camera collection is composed of rare cameras dating late 1800's up to late 1900's."

"On the other hand, the antiquarian photographs depicting the early Philippine photography in the Spanish and American eras are also on display. Rare photos of Manila before and after the Japaneses occupation, Marcos era and EDSA revolution are also exhibited." These photos are from vast vintage collections.

"The unique exhibition is the only one in the country that showcases Philippine antiquarian photographs and a vintage camera collection all housed in an actual Spanish-era home."
