It was an early habal-habal trip going to one of the falls I really long to see since then, the Lulugayan Falls in Samar. It was raining the previous days so I didn’t expect it to be on its finest but whatever, I really want to see this waterfalls.

Located at Calbiga, the bumpy and one of the most long habal-habal trip that I really enjoyed and upon seeing from afar a glimpse of the waterfalls makes my heart jump for joy. There is something about seeing the places you wished and longed to see for quite some time.

As expected, it is really muddy, chocolate waterfalls waiting for us. But despite the appearance it is nonetheless a beauty. It is really huge and a sight for sore eyes! What more if its on its real color.

Tour guide is required and its 300 for a group of five as of December 2018.

If you are not satisfied with Bomod-Ok Falls which I doubt it of course, but by any means you can always visit this small but another refreshing falls in Sagada. Bokong Falls is another attractions in Sagada that everyone can visit and take a quick dip or stay for a day. The water is really cold and perfect during summer.

It will require an hour walk going to the falls but its definitely worth it. People usually skip this especially when they already see and experience Bomod-Ok Falls but again if you are chasing falls and you wanted to really explore Sagada be sure not to miss this falls.

The falls is perfect for anyone who wants to avoid crowd for it is seldom visited. You may stay here for as long as you like but make sure to bring your own foods and drinks because there are no stores nearby, you have to trek all the way up but the stores are not really open during weekdays.

One of the tallest falls I've been in my life. Sorsogon clearly has a lot to offer esp if you are nature-seeker adventurer! Nagsipit Falls is located at Casiguran in Sorsogon. On my first visit here I wasn't able to bring change clothes so I wasn't able to dip in and experience its water. So I promise myself the next time I'll be here I'll be dipping in.

Going back to this falls makes it possible since I am always coming back to Lola Sayong Eco-Surf Camp and whenever I bring with me people to explore the Sorsogon, Nagsipit Falls has always been on the itinerary.

Getting here is not as hard as it seems. One may pass by this cold spring Orok where you will be trekking for almost twenty minutes to reach the falls. Guide is not required but if it's your first time you have to ask for one. The trail can be tricky. There are two trails going to the falls one is the long cut and the other is the short cut. Both suitable for beginners.

Entrance fee is 25 per head. It's 45 minutes drive from Sorsogon City. You can also dip in the cold spring where you can rent a table and grill and drink with your friends and family! Just be mindful that during Sundays families flock there. But no fret, you will still enjoy the place!

The term Bomod-Ok means "big" in Bontoc. Truly this is one gigantic falls that I've seen in my life. Standing 200 meters high, this gigantic falls can be reach by trekking through scenic rice terraces. It was a long trek for some but if you are into hiking this trek will be a piece of cake for you plus the view is worth it.

Bomod-Ok Falls jump-off is at Banga-an and exit point is at Aguid. They require a transport service that will pick you up from your inn/homestay to the jump-off and back. But if you have your own vehicle you may use it. We pay 600 pesos for that.

There is a 10 pesos entrance fee to the falls and 500 pesos for a guide. Be sure to start early for it became super hot at noon since the trail going to the falls is open make sure to bring protection from sun.

But the trek and scorching sun is worth it esp when you see the falls itself, the water is so tempting we end up swimming for half an hour because I'm already chilling from cold. It was one of my favorite falls that I've been to. So if you're heading to Sagada don't forget this on your list!

The view!

Kind of fascinated by this water showers or whatever that called :P

For your convenient you may contact Kuya Jordan for your Sagada trip 09273453520.

I was tired from the climb and all the mishaps I encountered. My guide asked me if I still wanted to visit the falls nearby. At first, I was like, no, I'm dead tired already and wanted to go home(Manila), I think it is pretty normal thinking after you got lost in a mountain with just a guide with you, well, at least, I'm not alone. But you guys seeing this post means I continue my way to the falls.

I've mentioned on my first post and my arrival in Ifugao that they have activity during Easter Sunday. Yeah, my unforgettable first solo hike happens last Easter Sunday. Anyway, Ate Gemma, my guide, will be part of the said activity and will start around six in the evening. Given the time of our arrival from hike she has no time to take me to the falls so instead of her, she said that one of her daughter can take me to the falls, that is, if I still wanted to see it.

Good thing I changed my mind. I will never forgive myself if I missed it!

Going to the falls takes about 20 to 30 minutes and it is all the way down. I can imagine my way up back to jump off and I am feeling tired already. haha! Yeah, I'm exhausted by this time but for the sake of my Project 81 and love of nature let's do this. After all, it is not always I am in Ifugao, so yeah.

Few reminders that everyone should know by heart. LEAVE NO TRACE!

My beautiful and lovely guide :)

some part of the trail going down to the falls :)

View along the way going to the falls :)

More photos of the falls. Enjoy!

Photos on the other side of the falls.

One of my dream! Photos on the bridge :P

Other landmarks of Kiangan you may visit.

Photos says it all. I really wanted to make a quick dip but I am too tired and it was getting dark already and I need to head back to Manila the same night for I have work the next day. Waiting for another mishap? I am. HAHA!

My visit on this beautiful falls at Kiangan, Ifugao, dated last March 27, 2016, is an official entry to my 81 Before 30 Challenge.
