Taking A Leap At Zambales

by - Saturday, March 29, 2014

This photos were taken years back but wasn't able to post it. Since its summer already here in the Philippines I would like to share to you guys one of the amazing trip and probably one of the fist out of town trip far away with my friends. We planned this over and over and finally it push through. Too bad we're only four but that doesn't mean we make the most of it. Its an overnight stay only but its a full of experience. Let me first start with our travel to arrival up to the things we did and will be doing a separate post on how budget friendly going to Zambales is.

But of course, I make some of the plans on this trip. Since it will took 6hrs travel to go to this place we travel by night and get the 5am ride to Iba, Zambales. It was a great travel though given that time and the fact that it was our first time to go there. We did manage to find a contact from there to assist us of course, regards to transporation when we got out the bus, the boat, the tent and other utensils we'll be using, the activities that we're going to do and so much more.

Leaving the the land and going to Anawangin was one hell of a ride. Yes, you've read it right. It's my first time and I don't know how to swim haha and the waves are so big, the photos below will prove what I'm saying.

But nothing beats the wonderful scenery on our way to the island. Though we frogot to put sunblock on we end up frying our own selves.

Setting up the place.

See how beautiful the place is? It's not white sand but still a lovely place, the following day we visit another island called Capones Island where it is white sand and do some trekking. But I'll post a budget friendly Zambales trip for you guys, esp for those who want to visit the place this summer!

have a great day everyone and a blast weekend!

loves,
