San Matias Parish Church
My trip to Isabela marks my 3rd solo travel and part of my Cordillera adventure last holy week. Imagine my fascination combined in one? Yep, I have a deep rooted fascination to anything ancient, baroque, historical, vintage, bricks and churches. And this particular church is probably on the top of my favorite church that I have visited so far.
The moment I laid my eyes on this beauty my heart skip a beat because I cannot believe my eyes. It's so old but yet standing firmly to the ground and it has seen so much joy, sorrow, calamities, celebration and many other things. Truly, it is one of the most historical church there is in my country.

At first, I thought it was not open to the public anymore because it shows signs of age, really, but all the more it looks so perfect to me. But when I check in inside they are still using this and I did imagine myself walking on this specific isle for my wedding. Ang layo, no? Haha!
Closer look, that cylindrical bell tower looks like a big layered cake!
Another chasing churches that is now off my list is San Matias Parish Church, Tumauini, Isebala dated March 26, 2016 is an official entry to my 81 Before 30 Challenge.
