Hidden Gem Of Nueva Ecija – Minalungao

I’ve been doing a lot of reseach because of my 81 Before 30 Challenge or simply Project 81. I’ve almost been to Region III and only two was left, Nueva Ecija and Bataan. My plan is to do a two-day trip to visit this two provinces and cross out entirely the whole Region III. But there are things I need to do and got only one day and chose going to Nueva Ecija with my other friends.

Here’s a detailed guide on how to go there that I posted few weeks ago. Click this link.

We are one of those early tourist that day and I’m glad we are for it became crowded almost before lunch time.

Honestly, I was a bit curious if we are going to fell given that me and my friends weigh more than anyone there. HAHA! Hi BFFs! We are making fun of it while boarding the raft but the owner of the raft told us that it can hold us and we shouldn’t be afraid of that. Naninigurado lang, kuya.

Our guide then explained to us the activities available at Minalungao, we can go caving, swimming, zip line, visit the grotto and cross the hanging bridge. We only did the caving and a bit of swimming. The place is already a gem and we are so mesmerize by the beauty of it.

Caving is no new to me, I’ve been quite caving lately and one of my favorite activity. Caves hold so much beauty inside that you need to go deeply to it to see for your eyes. And this particular cave is one of those.

After a few dipping in the cold water and enjoying the view, the place gets crowded by 10 am and we decided to leave by noon time and head to Pampanga at Sky Ranch which is just a few hours away from the place.

Truly, there will always be a hidden gem somewhere place that just need discovering.

Discovering the hidden gem of Nueva Ecija – Minalungao Park dated February 7, 2016 is an official entry to my 81 before 30 challenge.

I’ve seen beautiful photos from my friends that they are using as their Profile pictures on Facebook and it was circulating many other social media sites like twitter and Instagram which I am very active too. Looking at the photos, different ones, it seems like it was on the same place. And it did, one close friend of mine posted about it as her cover photo and the canvass is so amazing so I asked her where it is and she told me that it’s the Pinto Art Museum of Antipolo Rizal.

It takes months before we visit the place. We decided to visit it the same time the Higantes Festival will take place and it falls on the month of November. We booked for a night and countdown begins to our museum escapade.

How to Go There
Getting to Pinto Art Museum is easy. If you are coming from Manila, ride a bus or jeepneys going to Sta. Lucia mall. From there, catch another jeepney or take a cab and ask the river to drop you at Pinto Art Museum.

Entrance Fee?
Regular Ticket – 180 pesos
Senior Citizen – 150 pesos
Students with ID – 100 pesos
3 yrs. old below is FREE
Price is as of November 2015

POLICY
No FOOD, PETS, and CHANGING CLOTHES allowed inside the museum.

Where To Eat?
There is a restaurant inside the museum but the price is costly for us so we ate outside at the highway

Roaming around the entire museum will take you half day only. That includes a lot of photo session already. If you are a fan of paintings this is a good place for you to visit. They take pride of their own by opening to the public the works of well-known and very talented Filipino artist from generation to now.

It’s a quick destination and bonding time not just with friends but as well as families and students too.

Below are some of the raw photos taken inside the museum.
