Chewy Chocolate Cookie!

by - Wednesday, October 21, 2015

Last night I was bored and our refrigerator broke, though these chocolate chips can last days without on the freezer, I can't risk it so I decided to bake some chocolate cookies!

There were a lot of easy recipes on the internet you can choose from. But what I did is that I maximize everything that I have in the kitchen. Given its night already and I don't want to go out anymore to buy stuff.

So if you wanted a quick and easy chewy chocolate cookie here are the ingredients and the procedure on how to make some! Take note that I don't use a mixer in this one.

It was so easy that when its done you can actually eat it raw? haha! Can you feel me with this? I love sweet so much and I have a high tolerance to anything sweets or sweeter than usual! (but of course don't forget to drink plenty of water!)

The chocolate chip cookie was less than the measurement needed because that's all what's left on my pantry. But though like that the taste still the same! Plus I love the chewiness of it! Its like eating bread but thicker fuller and moist? I can't really explain in words the taste of it! :p

I know there is this cookie tray to for cookies. but I love using my cupcake tray when baking cookies because when it spreads, it only take up the size of the cupcake thus giving it the same width. Plus, my tray is only one and its so small.

These ingredients can have up to 75 pcs cookies!! Yep, You've read that right, That many! That's why earlier I'll bring some to my friends and will be bringing some to my sister tomorrow at the apartment because I will be staying there til Friday for its my start at my new work tomorrow!

That many? Yep! But when I took that photo there are still 3 batches of cookies to bake. So, more more more!

Honestly, I've been thinking this christmas to give cookies to my friends instead of buying gifts, I mean, its more personal since I bake it myself plus it saves me from going out at the mall. Initially, I wanted to give them the truffles I did before, the one I posted here. If you missed it, you can check it here: No Bake Truffles I think its more advisable to make cookies because its easy and will not be needing costly ingredients, plus you can pair it with milk, coffee, or tea! I will just make a beautiful jar where I will be putting these yummy chewy chocolate cookie to give to them! Isn't it a great idea?

Anyway, with no further ado, here's the ingredients and procedure:

Ingredients

1 cup butter melted on very low heat
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Procedure
Pre-heat the oven first!

1. Melt the butter in a very low heat. I don't have yet microwave so your stove will be just fine just make sure to use very low heat.
2. Add white sugar and brown sugar on the melted butter. Mix evenly until smooth
3. Add the 2 eggs. One at a time. Make sure to beat the first one evenly before adding the second one
4. Add the vanilla
5. On separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients: all purpose flour, baking soda, and the salt. Then pour it on the wet ingredients. If you don't have any mixer, you can pour the dry ingredients per amount so you can mix it properly, just to avoid bubbles.
6. Add the chocolate chips! Then mix
7. Get a spoonful of it, make a round shape and place it on the tray. What I always did is that I use my bare hands to measure the amount and roll it on my palm just make sure to wash your hands before you do this! then bake it for 10 minutes! If you want it chewy don't over cook it. More than 10 minutes will gives you a not so chewy but a combination of hard.

That's it! Quickest and simplest chewy chocolate cookie! Perfect for this bead rainy weather we are experiencing now.

With so much love, Ellie
