My favorite beach next to Boracay Island is San Pedro Beach. This private resort is the opposite of Boracay in terms of quietness and solitude. When me and my friend went here last September of this year (2016) we are the only guest that time so imagine it feels like we rented the whole beach for us. It is very quiet and far away from the busy and crowded places in Manila.

Here is a simple guide if you wish to experience the beauty of Romblon, Romblon, island.

How to go there?

Ride a bus bound to Batangas Pier. Fare is around 170 from Manila. From Pier catch a ferry going to Romblon, Romblon. Please refer to image below for daily trips at Batangas Pier. Make sure to come on time because they leave exactly on time indicated. You may visit Montenegro website or 2GO Travel for the complete schedule of their trip and price.

If you missed your scheduled trip directly to Romblon, Romblon, try to catch a ferry bound to Odiongan, from Odiongan ride a jeepney going to San Agustin fare is around 100 and from there transfer to a small boat that will take you to Romblon, Romblon fare is 100 pesos. There is a minimal terminal fee of 10 pesos.

Arriving at Romblon, Romblon pier, there are a lot of tricycle that will take you to San Pedro Beach. Fare is only 200 pesos. Other will charge you 250-300. But to make sure you can contact San Pedro Beach and asked them for a tricycle that will fetch you from the pier. We didn't know that at first, just when we arrive at the beach and told them that the driver charge us 250 pesos. Travel time is around 30 minutes.

Note that travelling via land plus ferry will eat up much of your time, so make sure to a lot extra day for it. It take us half the day going to this serene beach.

Accommodation at San Pedro Beach

There are a total of only 8 nipa hut rooms on this beach. So if you are planning to visit the place on peak season you might want to book early.

Room rate: php 800/night for 2 pax

For Day Tour

Is There An Entrance Fee?

Where to Eat?

They have a mini restaurant but choices is very limited but I definitely enjoyed their spaghetti. I did order it on my every meal. haha! Tuna is the main ingredient for the sauce. :D You may bring foods along with you so you can save much. There is no corkage. Plus, store is far from the beach.

Electricity?

Yep. 24/7.

Contact Person?

Mam Mina - 9282730515

Other Things To Do

There are other beach nearby that you can visit during your stay at San Pedro Beach. Bonbon Beach, Margie's Beach, and Tiamban Beach. There is also a dive resort beside it.
