by - Sunday, March 04, 2018

Ilocos has been the home of so much history of the Philippines. Museums has been growing a lot these days because of travelers wanting to know more of the history. And I think that's a good thing. If you are looking for museum-hopping experience you can always take a trip to Ilocos and you will not run out of it.

To start of, Quirino Museum in Ilocos Sur in Vigan used to be a jail. It is located behind the provincial capitol and beside the Burgos museum. Note that there is no entrance fee on this museum but you have to log at the entrance. Taking of photos is allowed, but without flash.
