Have you watched this movie? This has been one of my favorite love story since I watched it, and probably the main reason why I fell in love and push the urge of me going to Prague someday. Yes, someday, I will definitely go to this place, alone or with someone I dearly love.
Let me tell you first the story of Letters to Juliet. Sophie played by Amanda Seyfried is a young American woman who works for The New Yorker as a fact checker who happened to be already engaged to chef Victor. They have a pre-honeymoon trip to Verona, Italy where Victor is so much busy that he uses most of his time researching his soon-to-open italian restaurant, thus neglecting Sophie on the process. Sophie on the other hand whom had just met the "Secretaries of Juliet" who answers love problems left my thousands of people believing on it, discovered an unanswered "Letter to Juliet" that was there years ago. Sophie answered it and within a week the now elderly Claire who wrote the letter arrives in Verona with her handsome barrister grand child Charlie. Claire and Sophie instantly like each other while Charlie and Sophie do not get along and argue most of the time.
Following Sophie's letter, Claire is on search of her long-lost love, Lorenzo Bartolini. On their quest on looking for Lorenzo, they discover that there are a multiple Lorenzo around the area. They travel and look from places to places just to find the one. The most heart-breaking is when they find that one is dead. Charlie blaming Sophie for the pain she's causing her grandma sadness, accusing Sophie of not knowing what real loss is. Claire interferes and tell Charlie that he's wrong and that Sophie's mom left her when she was just a little girl. The following day, Claire insists that Charlie apologize to Sophie at breakfast which he does. After dinner, Sophie and Charlie goes out and talks about love and kiss afterwards. On the last day on searching for Lorenzo, on a whim Claire points out a vineyard to Charlie and ask him if they can stop by for a while to have a farewell drink with Sophie whom help her out all this time. On their way, Claire sees a young man who look exactly like her Lorenzo that turns out to be the grandson of Lorenzo Bartolini himself. And then the two reunite.
Sophie back in New York and broke up with Victor before she returns to Verona for Claire and Lorenzo's wedding. As Claire and Lorenzo unite Sophia and Charlie confesses their love for each other too.
~end~
The search for Lorenzo showcase the different and most beautiful places of the place.
Here are the wonderful spots I would love to visit when I got there.
