My trip to Isabela marks my 3rd solo travel and part of my Cordillera adventure last holy week. Imagine my fascination combined in one? Yep, I have a deep rooted fascination to anything ancient, baroque, historical, vintage, bricks and churches. And this particular church is probably on the top of my favorite church that I have visited so far.

The moment I laid my eyes on this beauty my heart skip a beat because I cannot believe my eyes. It's so old but yet standing firmly to the ground and it has seen so much joy, sorrow, calamities, celebration and many other things. Truly, it is one of the most historical church there is in my country.

At first, I thought it was not open to the public anymore because it shows signs of age, really, but all the more it looks so perfect to me. But when I check in inside they are still using this and I did imagine myself walking on this specific isle for my wedding. Ang layo, no? Haha!

Closer look, that cylindrical bell tower looks like a big layered cake!

Another chasing churches that is now off my list is San Matias Parish Church, Tumauini, Isebala dated March 26, 2016 is an official entry to my 81 Before 30 Challenge.

An 18th century baroque church originally built by Dominican friars, located at Cagayan: The Saint Peter Metropolitan Cathedral or also known as the Tuguegarao Cathedral considered as one of the largest churches in the Cagayan Valley. The facade is described as whimsical and playful and the most notable feature is the broken and crested pediment that is mirrored in other churches in the Cagayan Valley.

My trip to Cagayan was held last Holy Week, during my Cordillera exploration marks my 2nd solo travel this year 2016. Since its just beside Apayao, I include this province and visit one of their many historical Church. Exploring Cagayan needs days and I plan on going back to visit their beach with my friends this year, too.

For now, this visit to their famous Tuguegarao Cathedral, Cagayan dated March 26, 2016 is an official entry to my 81 Before 30 Challenge.

I took long to publish the follow-up post for our Puerto Galera trip. Let me take you to the night life at White Beach in Puerto Galera. White Beach is located on other side of the island so we need to take a long ride to be there. It's either you'll take a boat or a pedicab. Since, we will be getting wet by the boat and it will cost much so we take the pedicab. They said night life at White Beach is awesome esp during summer so we didn't miss a chance to experience it.

Day 2 is more exciting than day 1. Honestly, I'm dead drunk on the first night and wasn't able to enjoy the bonfire set by my friends. Well, they didn't enjoy much since there's a rain coming too. The following day was for island hopping and trekking. But before we set sail and go up the mountain we have to face our dilemma that day and that is no one really knows how to make a fire? HAHAHAHAHA yes. How come we decided to go on camp with no electricity and no one even knows how to make a fire out of scratch most esp all of our things are wet from the rain last night. Anyhow, we manage and ready for trekking.

Jhec's been mentioning going on the top of the Basilica De San Martin De Tours, whom actually identified as the largest Catholic church in Asia, I'm just like "yeah, sure, why not" It's like, I'm here so why not try everything she tells me otherwise how would I know something if I haven't try it?

After the parade, Jhec's finally got some buddies to accompany us going there. I can say, my most favorite people in Taal, Batangas, they're so friendly, very accommodating, so fun to be with and you can just be yourself with them thought it's just the first time you've met them. In short, I enjoyed their company. We had so much laugh in here.

So let's start my adventure on reaching the top of the largest Catholic church in Asia.

This post marks my acceptance of the challenge 80 before 30. I've been seeing blog post about it whenever I search for a good place to visit next here in our country, the Philippines.

80 before 30 actually means to visit the eighty provinces of the Philippines before you reach thirty years old. As we speak, I've been to seventeen provinces already at the age of twenty six, I am looking forward to visit my next destination this coming September.

Three of those seventeen provinces were just a merely visit. And I will be going back to one of this days, like Laguna, Pampanga and Rizal. What I want is to visit the province tourist spot and discover their beauty or whatever it is out there, be it alone or with friends.

Actually, I just visited my 16th province last week along with my two girlfriends. My plan is to visit the nearest one from my place, Bulacan, which is located at Central Luzon, I'll be planning the farthest, especially the Mindanao area probably by next year when I have enough savings for that.

There will be some place that I will be travelling alone and there will be that I will be going with friends. There are a lot of places here in the Philippines that are best to go to with friends.

Anyway, this is just to declare(if that's the right words to use) my 81 before 30 Challenge!

These are the provinces that I was able to visit already:
Batangas
La Union
Bulacan
Cavite
Bengute
Zambales
Oriental Mindoro
Pangasinan
Aklan
Camarines Norte
Mt. Province
Cebu
Palawan
Tarlac
Rizal
Laguna
Pampanga

Looking forward to update this post soon! The tag Project 81 by Erii will be used. If you are my follower on my instagram account you can check the hashtag as #Project81ByErii
